They do it, not sit through it
Every stop asks the team to look closely and find something real. The history lands because they went looking for it.
You brought the group across the country to stand in front of history. Then the kids drift to their phones while someone reads a plaque aloud. Quest the City puts those phones to work: teams follow a self-guided outdoor mission, find details on real landmarks, and solve their way to the next stop.

For organizers who bring groups into a city: school trips, youth ministries, scout troops, sports teams, and student travel companies.
Every stop asks the team to look closely and find something real. The history lands because they went looking for it.
Every puzzle is solvable from public outdoor space. No timed entry, no admission, no waiting on a museum to open.
Runs in a phone browser. Teams load the mission once and keep playing if cell service drops between stops.
Routes are planned around a fixed walk with a clear start and finish near transit, so you can schedule it like any other stop.
Break a large group into small teams, each led by a leader on their own phone. Two route directions let teams start from opposite ends and avoid crowding.
At places of remembrance, missions ask teams to observe quietly. No games with names, nothing to touch or climb.
Buy the mission once, with a phone for each leader who will run a team. Or email us your date and group size and we will set it up.
Open the play link, tap Share, and send it to each leader. One small team per leader's phone, plus a chaperone plan you control.
Each team picks a direction and gets its first objective. Solving a stop reveals the next one.
Teams converge on a known endpoint. Compare times, swap stories, earn the badge.
Operation Long Shadow: six memorial objectives from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial, playable in either direction.
Operation Liberty Tree: five objectives, about a mile on foot, through downtown Annapolis. Also playable in either direction.
One phone runs a team of about 5. Add phones for $5 if you'd like to split up.
Each purchase is one pass with one play link, sent by email. Choose how many phones at checkout.
Need more teams later? The order email has an Add phones link. Same pass, same link, $5 per phone.
Tap Share in the mission and send the link to each leader. Every phone runs its own team and keeps its own progress.

Middle school through adults. Puzzles are observation-based: find, read, and notice details on real landmarks.
No. Each team plays on its leader's phone, and the whole team solves together. No app or account needed.
No. Every stop is solvable from public outdoor space with no admission, timed passes, or opening hours.
You stay in charge. Routes use public paths with a clear start and finish, so chaperones can walk with teams or meet them at the endpoint.
Per phone, not per person: $20 for the first phone and $5 for each extra phone on the same pass. One phone runs a team of about 5. For example, 20 kids in 4 teams means 4 phones: $20 + 3 × $5 = $35. You buy once and share the link to the other leaders.
